Aletsch Grand Cru
Delicious cheese made from delicious heat-treated Swiss
milk using traditional production methods.
Character
Rustic excellence. Exquisitely refined with wine extracts. Its fruity
flavour and typical magenta rind derived from the wine sediment
that coats the cheese. Aletsch Grand Cru has a mellow texture
with a unique tangy flavour. The pre-eminent blending of two of the
Valais region’s natural products: the Mediterranean wine culture
and the primeval alpine gourmet culture. It is the product of the best
traditions of handcrafted cheeses – robust and exquisite. Perfection
itself! Extraordinarily and markedly aromatic, Aletsch Grand Cru
rounds off a successful day.
Storage
Refrigeration: Sealed with plasticwrap, it will keep up to two weeks.
Let stand at room temperature for half an hour before serving.
Gourmet tip
Delicious when complimented by a glass of wine, for example,
Va-laisian Petite Arvine, Ermitage or Cornalin. As an appetizer,
compliment with carpaccio. For a real Valaisian dream, use
wafer-thin cheese slices marinated with walnut oil, served on a bed of
gourmet lettuce leaves.
